Monday, April 6, 2015. We had a little pre-Easter celebration with our friends and neighbors at the annual Pond Easter Egg hunt on Saturday. The weather is always iffy for the this event so we were pleasantly surprised with sunshine instead snow this year. Riley and Piper were part of the mad dash to grab as many eggs as they could while. Livvy was pretty much content with the 2 that she found, especially when she realized that they had candy inside of them. She a big fan of Smarties.

The Boy in the Dark Rain. A little boy, barely three years of age, dark haired, light-skinned, cherub-faced, puppy-eyed, stood next to a bench at a bus stop, in the rain, in the dark of midnight. Terrified, screaming out to another planet hoping someone there would hear him because on this one there was just him and the lurking monster that is the dark.
Sweet sticky memphis summer and the journey of home. And today we have a home. It poured the day we moved in. Non-stop soaking juicy rain until about half-way through the next morning. It was one of the most beautiful days of my life.
