Thursday, July 31, 2014. I miss making jewelry! I went back to school and became so involved with academics that I have completely neglected my jewelry making activities. Even after losing my hard drive in a chance misadventure, I was able to retrieve photos of my jewelry from the Internet. For some things, it is bad that your history follows you forever.

Mosaic Classes - January and February 2015. Ongoing at Sweet Mabel Studio. Dishes, mirror and porcelain mosaic on found wood in recycled frame. Mosaic with Fiesta Ware, tile and mirror. Mosaic made on scrap wood with hand-cut mirror, glass, tile and dishes. Cirlces Mirror with Blues and Greens. Along with studio partner David Stehman, I host Open Studio sessions and teach mosaics and found object art at Sweet Mabel Studio.
I have been obsessed with drawing since elementary school. Birds and forests are dominant themes in much of my work. My favorite materials are the discarded objects I pick up from streets and sidewalks that I transform into sculptural assemblages. Sweet Mabel Art and Fine Craft Gallery.
