Saturday, November 17, 2007. I found this lovely framed blackboard at an antique show. And purchased it with the intent of painting a Christmas scene on it. I dry brushed the already luscious green frame with ivory,. Then distressed it slightly with a wash. The design itself comes from one of my favorite Victorian postcards. This vintage style turkey is bedecked with a lovely Victorian garland of silver leaves. He is nestled into a bird nest which is tucked nicely into. Bowlies of Santa Sweetness! .
