Thursday, August 6, 2015. What a difference a day makes! Last Saturday we drove out to Boyne City to visit a lavender farm that I had recently learned about. While sitting at a traffic light I was admiring the visitors center. It has a real up north feel and the garden area out front is fabulous. This lavender farms uses no pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. They sell edible lavender and soaps. My poor ferns are trashed. These are call shelf cloud for.

Friday, August 14, 2015. Still trying to wake up. Craig is off and we are hauling more brick this morning. Before the sun gets over head. I have plenty to do inside, should it prove to be to nasty out there. The mornings are pretty humid yet. But have no idea where its all coming from. Monarch butterfly caterpillars on milk weed. There is a movement gaining momentum here on planting milk week. People are growing it in town in their flower beds.
