New Zealand is a most beautiful welcoming country. Our visit proved to be way beyond our expectations ,which were high! Stunning vivid landscape contrasts, many and varied, and usually coming within short distances of each other. The Kiwis we met are delightful people, always friendly, helpful, interesting and informative. Nothing is too much trouble, and people take pride in giving good service. Clearly its NOT a thing of the past in New Zealand, as it can be in so many other parts of the world! .
We did not see as much of Christchurch as we would like to have done, only having a Sunday afternoon to look around en route to Dunedin. We stayed at the recently refurbished and very comfortable Elms Hotel. The Sunday Market adjacent to the Arts Centre is worth a look.
Take the excellent guided tour and in true Cadbury fashion come away with a bag full of goodies! Cadbury Factory,Dunedin,NZ.
