During Friday i loaded the car with bits and pieces required for a couple of jobs I wanted to get done, clothes and grub. Shelagh duly arrived from work at 17;30 and we set off to Fambridge within twenty minutes. Our original plan had been to arrive there in time to have dinner in the Ferry boat Inn.
