Sunday, November 23, 2008. We decided to go with a Star Wars Halloween theme this year. All the kids seem to be into Star Wars and were thrilled to dress up as these characters. If costumes werent so darn expensive, I would have loved for John and I to be Darth and Queen Amadala, Faith to still be Princess Leia, Cole could have been Luke, and theres no denying whos the best Yoda in town. James was a real trooper. He refused to be carried all night AND he insisted on carrying all his loot himself.

Thursday, January 31, 2013. We were able to take a family trip to the zoo around Christmas. It was sunny and bright, but a little cool. We went early in the morning and had the place almost to ourselves. The animals were all out and sunning themselves! The kids were excited that they were able to show Daddy a lot of their favorite spots. Feeding the deer- Ainsley loves the deer. Snack time at the picnic tables.
