Friday, March 16, 2018. This morning while I was feeding the goats I did the usual udder check on the does. We are getting close to having kids! If they took on the date I think they did, they are due next Wednesday-ish. Well, today I decided to fashion my own sort-of milking parlor.
After the pig butchery weekend. I decided it was time to take some of that lovely Berkshire pig to the next level and make bacon! I chose three joints that I thought would make nice streaky and back bacon. I made things a little harder for myself by making my own cure, I brought the salt, saltpeter and brown sugar to do the mix. I got there in the end but metric or cup measures are so much easier! .
Very bad times are here for Patriots! We can easily be prepared for Man-Made and Mother-Nature caused disasters, surviving comfortably for six months or longer. The most outrageous current disaster we have to live with is our Lying, Self-Serving Politicians. Lowering the Voting Age to 16, Goodbye USA.
