My name is Allison Hardesty Bernauer. I am from Beaufort, NC. I graduated from East Carteret High School in 1997 and East Carolina University in 2001. I am married to Korey Bernauer and we have twins, Callie Margaret and Max that are 7 years old. Tuesday, September 13, 2011. My grandfather, Gordon Hardesty, passed away on Aug 25th at the age of 102. I spoke at the funeral and thought I would post below what I read that day. He was so very special to me and so many.
