Saturday, July 28, 2012. Well, I finally did it. I dug out the sewing machine and cleaned it up and got it working again! Im actually kind of proud of myself. Its been so long since Ive touched the machine, that I had to do Spring Cleaning on my brain! Dust up the cobwebs, so to say. But, sewing is in my blood. My Nan was a Seamstress for Singer, and she made all of my clothes when I was a kid, and I feel somehow obligated to carry on that tradition somehow. Of course, the dummy that I am replied, OH?CONTENT

Little bits of life with little people. Sunday, March 3, 2013. In the summer I had a dream. In this dream I taught a class at HSoBX. Tonight my dream comes true. I shared my dream with my friend. She came up with a name. I came up with an outline. We are somehow melding our ideas together and creating something new for our girls. Our Pink Tent is about to be born. Sarah baked pumpkin muffins, made fairy fudge, and gathered camellias from our yard.
There was a random piece of wood and I felt the need to create. This is different than just about anything that I have done, ever. Prisma Color on wood panel. A project for my Illustration class a couple years back. The idea was about global warming.
With the inclusion of color, the intensive planning and researching of the topic and the new template for the crafting the time and effort to produce increased dramatically. With that in mind, the product is certainly the star of the two. The cohesive illustrations with the consistent message and the use of hand drawn type offer a pleasant experience for the viewer.
