Sunday, August 16, 2015. This summer has been a true summer of learning for me. One in which I learned the most from examples that others around me set. And as I took those lessons and started changing the ways I did some things in my life, I figured it could be good to share a few of those lessons with you! What I learned the most this summer, and it was something I already knew but it was nice to be reminded of, was that the little things truly are what matters most. 1 Make People Feel Important.

My Son Wants to Build a Rollercoaster. I have spent the last two Saturdays the same way. I was making banana nut waffles and growing professionally in my PJs. How you ask did I manage this? This Saturday, I used some of the same tools to be a learner at What Great Educator Do Differently in Chicago as well as EdScape. I got to hear some of the openning and closing speakers.

Monday, August 10, 2015. Book Awards Feed My Obsession. 2015 Orbis Pictis Honor Book. I have a slight obsession with constantly hunting for the best books to add to my classroom library. I, literally, could label, sticker, rearrange, feature, and work with my little library all day long. I really try to know what each book is about so I can help my students learn how to select books that are just right for them.
Listening Activity presented using an online presentation tool. Power Point Jeopardy Game and PP Quiz. My class should have lessons 3-4 days a week and i would like to have 5-8 students of 3classes a day which time cost maybe for 50-60 minutes per class to not loose their concentration.

Assorted thoughts from a semester abroad. Three months in three bags. I am the girl who packs multiple carloads of clothes and items for one semester at college. As excited as I was to spend a semester in London, packing was a little tricky.
Which was stupid of me, looking back. Holy moly me oh my.
