I was up at 0730, fairly early considering Gilbert wasnt coming until 1000, and was showered and fed in plenty of time so I went bird watching in the gardens for a while. Silvery-cheeked Hornbills - male and female. Creeper, a bit like honeysuckle. At 1030, with no sign of Gilbert, I checked out and sat in the garden having a rather surreal Skype conversation with Dave while I waited. Eventually Gilbert appeared at 1200 - TIA! Some of the boys.

Thursday, March 14, 2013. why do I have a sunflower as my logo? It started with a drive to Coventry one day and I passed a field of sunflowers in Somers. Cameras make you bold sometimes and I have not been shy to just get out, walk and shoot. It was a GORGEOUS Sunny Day. The Bees were loving it. And this smiling face caught my attention.
