Wednesday, October 22, 2014. What has everyone been reading? Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Helping Children Deal with Alcoholic Parents. This is a tough one. For older people there is Al-Anon, but what is there for the little ones? Helping Kids Overcome Prejudice and Discrimination.
Friday, September 5, 2014. Our district has a HUGE push this year for teaching core values. The teachers are actually responsible for teaching 3 core value lessons every 3 weeks. I LOVE this! Since I cannot be in the rooms every week for guidance, I think it is great that students will get regular reminders and lessons on these important character traits. Daily quotes and challenges on the morning announcements.
