My journey moving to the country to start a herd of alpacas and my love of Knitting, Gardening, Quilting and all kinds of crafty adventures. We had our first alpaca baby of the year. Mimosa had a little dark silver gray girl. Labor went great and the baby was out in a matter of minutes. Both Mom and baby are doing great. I was able to get the tree up and put out the decorations. It all turned out pretty nice. I still have some last min.
Thursday, March 19, 2015. Winter was very long, but not unproductive, but that is the good part about winter. We had several visits from beautiful foxes that I thought I had been hearing at night mostly during the summer, but never seen before this. I got some paintings done and dyed some silk for a beautifulcowl. It looks nothing like the pattern photo, but that is because my yarn is heavier. Most of the amaryllis blossomed, but still waiting for a couple of them to blossom.
Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Simple pair of toe up socks to pass the time. Perhaps too simple because they got rather boring after the first sock was down. This usually leads to my standard single sock finishitis which the random single Jaywalker sock can attest. I forced myself to complete the second one this time tho. Ever since Winston was diagnosed with mouth cancer in April we have been spoiling him almost beyond measure. Whatever we eat, he gets some. If he likes it, he gets more, up to a point, but far more then I would ever dream of giving a pet. I also was pretty strict about waiting until the meal was over before he would get table scraps.
