The Stoddert Curriculum Garden is being designed and constructed by DC Greens in partnership with the Stoddert PTA and with generous support from Whole Food and a Building Healthy Communities Grant from Home Depot. Thursday, February 3, 2011. The area reserved for the garden is now officially outlined with a new split rail fence. The area measures approximately 4,000 square feet and contains two very old, very beautiful Chestnut Oak trees that will serve to shade the outdoor classroom area.
Welcome to the Stoddert Garden blog! Garden is ready for a new school year! August 22, 2011. Thank you to everyone who volunteered throughout the summer to keep the garden watered! We had many community members as well as Stoddert families that signed up to take care of the garden during the hot days of summer. The plants look great! It was hot but everyone worked very hard. Thank you for coming out! The newly organized shed! Weeding is hard work! .
