Sunday, February 23, 2014. 65279;I spent a lovely day outside yesterday. I met up with my monthly sewing group and made a tiny bit of progress on my. I was convinced by my friends to alter my WOW list to include a quilt. I started, hmmm, must be at least 7 or 8 years ago. I was sure it needed borders of some kind. Which is why I set it aside for so long. I had these left over diamonds from the piecing that I thought should be. Added as a partial border on two or three sides. But I never made the borders.

Jackies Quilting

Longarm machine quilting on a Gammill Classic Plus. Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Back in July I took a class with Jacquie Gering. The class was great! If you get the opportunity to take a class with her I would highly recommend it. The class I took was the three hour modern crazy piecing. Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Bee Block Quilt Completed! I finally took the time to sew all my awesome bee blocks together from last year. Every month after our STLMQG. Meeting, 8 of us go to lunch and swap bee blocks. Each person has an assigned month and every year we have a different theme. Last year when it was your month everyone made the block of your choice with the fabrics provided. I picked lots of teals and yellows and gray Robert Kaufman Essex linen. Fabric from her Eden line.

Friday, July 31, 2015. It is held together with stitching. It is made using the red Cherrywood fabric. It is 20 inches on each side. It is a log cabin. But a finished quilt is always better than a pile of fabric on the shelf. I will leave you to puzzle out that reference! It is.
