Saturday, September 19, 2009. I have just moved from New York to Iowa! I am taking my world and breathing new life into it. For example I found some sweaters that I recrafted into some beautiful clothing. I have also given a new look to a couch too. And a bloved foot stool as well.
My time spent is about making somethings - making my babies laugh and think, helping plants grow, making bread, working with clay, knitting and sewing, writing words down. i try to be as self contained as possible with one significant exception - relationships. those are also always in the making and I work hard at maintaining ones that matter. Saturday, April 18, 2015. Spools of fresh fabric. The quilt store is filled with gorgeous fabric - Ive done my best not to be tempted but yesterday I finally gave in. This is a Moda collection by Basicgrey aptly named Fresh Cut. I couldnt decide which fabrics to bring home so I purchased a layer cake of 45 fabrics. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. I finished this pretty little lady a few days ago. There is a new Christmas ornie SAL. Since I am already stitching some Christmas ornies this year, it seemed the perfect SAL to join. The subject for August is Santa and happily, Santa was on my list for next month .
