Tuesday, December 29, 2009. I am so fortunate to have such a great support system during this difficult time. I have a great family and wonderful friends, some of which I have never met in person. One of my good friends, Coby of CJ Kopec Creations. Has started a knit along. I had my very first chemo treatment today. I am not going to lie, I was scared! I did start knitting on my Manhattan. Tuesday, January 17, 2012. I went for a walk around Lillydale lake today. Its been a few years since I last went. Liam had yet to discover his abhorrence of cold water, so going with him by myself was a challenge I had not thought through. It turned in to a real struggle keeping him safe and out of the water, then carrying this wriggly mutinous creature with a backpack up a hill to the car. I went home in a very peaceful frame of mind and all it had taken was a half hour walk in body and soul.
