It is also story of three other characters, trauma, toxic stress and recovery. No one stopped to help. No one stopped to see if she was okay. No one stopped to offer that human contact which provides reassurance in moments of crisis. What you need right now is a hug.

Wednesday, July 24, 2013. While back in the Philippines, I noticed Manila was coming on leaps and bounds, even though those huge areas of sprawling urban chaos still abound. Will get pics up soon. Monday, April 29, 2013. One of the highlights was the fish market, which actually had sharks for sale, as well as some pretty exotic looking angel fish. But the main highlight for me were the old traditional coral houses in Al Balad.

We reached the halfway mark. 20 weeks down, 20 to go. Furniture I can do but what is a sleep suit? Is that the same as PJs or similar to a tiny person sleeping bag? And what is a swaddle? Is that something to do with how I walk? Like I said, its a cynical and fearful and worrisome time.
