Wednesday, February 1, 2012. I think the creators of the show absolutely nailed it! While they do show this boy as having some kind of a magical way to link people and events by connecting numbers together before the events happen. they also totally nail many of the emotions and occurances within the lives of many families living with someone with Autism. Thinking too far ahead is a scary thing, but we all do it. Will he be able to live independently? Will he be able to have a job? .

Sunday, July 24, 2011. Grandmas first couple days were filled with walks and trips to the splash park where there were toys to climb on and water to play in. Time to relax in the shade out on the back porch. Play in the backyard pool. Take a nap on the side of the pool. Then Grandpa came and Brock got out his list of chores of things that needed fixing.

Friday, April 11, 2014. Wednesday we went on one of the trails at Burr Oak woods. It was the Bethany Falls trail, but we will probably call it the woodpecker trail because of all the woodpeckers we saw on it this time. We saw three different kinds. Red bellied, Red headed, and Pilated Woodpeckers. I only have a picture of the red-headed. Friday, November 1, 2013. This hillside was so colorful. Mary and I checked out the new penguin exhibit at the zoo after it had been open a couple days.
