Steve Curry first became fascinated with drums when a brother-in-law introduced him to the snare drum when he was just five years old. He started private lessons in the fourth grade and by age eleven, he was studying with legendary jazz drummer Vinnie Ruggiero. At sixteen, he began playing professionally in his hometown of Rochester, New York. Steve currently performs with the band ATLAS, The Gap Mangione Big Band, Bob Militello, Chet Catallo and the Cats and the Andy Calabrese Trio.
