Saturday, November 29, 2008. Milan, in the northern part of Italy, has weather very similar to Philadelphia. It gets about 40 inches of rain a year, has hot summers and cold rainy winters. And it gets about 15 inches of snow a year. I was fortunate enough to witness an early season snowfall - which I photographed on a scenic walk to a Thanksgiving feast that my church generously provided to nostalgic Americans and other curious internationals.
