2012 Champaign Marathon

Monday, April 30, 2012. That was the hardest physical event I have ever done, but I am so glad I did it! We had a goal of less than 4 hours and we crossed the finish line at 35627. At the half marathon we were at about an 840 pace. By the end we averaged 900 per mile. I really hit the wall around mile 20. My legs were really heavy and fatigue really started setting in. Around mile 22 I told Steve he. Was going to have to set the pace to keep us on track. He did a great job. It was quite humorous.

We really wanted to be able to have a little bit more family around to take part in our babies special day so we decided to do the blessing in Utah this time around.
