Our lives, travels, and cultural adventures. Saturday, October 1, 2011. So, day 2 in Russia has come to an end. Every time we needed a ride anywhere she would call one and they would come and pick us up. Of course none of these guys are really her Uncle. I think that maybe every Azerbaijani man over 40 is probably an uncle.

This is our incredible journey as a family of five in Chandler, Oklahoma. Monday, April 9, 2012. Easter weekend was busy as usual but so wonderful! I started off the weekend by helping with our Junior High Glow in the Dark Easter egg hunt.Awesome! The eggs had reflective strips on them and they showed up great with our LED flashlights. The kids had a blast and I really enjoyed it too! I couldnt resist picking up one egg, hoping for chocolate but got a gold dollar instead! God Bless from the Stanfields!CONTENT

January has been a strange month as I have been quite unwell which has made it difficult to get going again after all of the Christmas festivities. It has been a month of planning ahead which is lots of fun.
