Had some fun trying out 3ware 9650SE-4LPL RAID controller, although this is a very good hardware based RAID controller it doesnt place nice with Intel SSDs. From what I can tell the performance decrease is due to lack of TRIM support, onboard Intel RAID controller does a much better job with Intel SSDs and TRIM. Thursday, April 22, 2010.
