I have thoughts, I have dreams and words in between. I always thought I was a good writer because I was creative with words. Now that I look back on my pieces of writing I realize my words are no more creative than the next average Joe. I just say things as they are and write whatever that pops into my head. I think as long as a little effort is put into the piece of writing it has the potential to be good. As you can tell from the following quote I am still workin.
Saturday, May 5, 2007. My mother always said that I was a good writer, but I felt part of that was just encouragement for me. In taking this class I have been able to realize some of the problems I have with writing, and been able to improve on them slightly. I also feel that my attitude, and approach to writing has changed quite a bit too.

This blog was created during my English 1020 as a freshmen. One of the new styles of writing I encountered through the course was the observational writing. Even as I wrote, my head was telling me to write just on observation, but my heart wanted to reflect and comment. A similar happening occurred with the rhetoric essay.

Ännu en gång har jag varit usel på att uppdatera men för tillfället har jag bara ångest för framtiden. och det är ju inte allt för kul att läsa om. Tänk vad mycket som kan förändras på ett år. Från att stortrivas i Sundsvall, stortrivas på jobbet bland mina kollegor, haft panik då jag föreställt mig att bo på en annan ort och inte känna någon, till att totalt längta här ifrån och längta tills jag byter jobb och få börja om.
