Well 2013 was kind of a doozy. There was a morning in June, right in the middle, that just about exemplifies it. The ground started to shake, enough to wake the remaining sleepers in the house. And a mouse ran across my kitchen floor. I am a pretty calm person, but hello adrenaline! My heart was racing and I was more than a little awake.

Saturday, April 20, 2013. We had a fun Spring Break adventure of camping down the Oregon Coast. Joshua has been studying about Lewis and Clark this year at school, so we made quite a few Lewis and Clark stops along our adventure. Jason and I at the Astoria Column. Sunday, August 9, 2015. I know that is a broad term, but specifically nondenominational Christianity has piqued my interest. For those of you who are stumbling across this blog for the first time, or fairly recently, you should know that Lauren and I are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So I decided I should try and learn more about what other Christians believe, how they worship, and seek understanding so I can know fi.

Henry is growing like a weed! On the 25th he was officially 3 months old. We all just adore him. Although the first time I accomplished a big shopping trip to the commissary with 4 kids by myself I was expecting some sort of trophy as we left. Nobody even offered me a high five. He will even fall asleep in it. Cute as a button! .

Wednesday, July 8, 2015. I was for a getaway with Jason. And a surprise getaway to boot! We grabbed some Mexican food for dinner and then drove to the bed and breakfast. It took us about 40 minutes to get there and the drive was beautiful! At the end of the tour she took us to our beautiful bedroom.
