Sunday, August 2, 2009. Yesterday I went to Madison, WI to the WQI. Is our state quilt guild. It is a great group of women and men. We had two lecturers Louisa Smith and Mary Stori. Louisa Smith talked about her One Patch Plus book. What an interesting concept! Talked about Penny Rugs. I learned a lot about them and how to make them but unfortunately I am allergic to wool so not something I will be making but I can use some of the concepts.

Friday, February 11, 2011. I know its only February but Ive had enough of winter already. Last week the big blizzard. OK the snow I can deal with but this darn cold weather I cant. Im tired of being cold and bundling up so much when I go outside Im afraid if I fall over Ill be like that little kid Randy from The Christmas Story and I wont be able to get up again.
