Smith Adventures

Common Last Name, Uncommon Adventures! Sunday, June 14, 2015. Mr Lorax, dont look now! We had some major tree eating work done at our house. I couldnt help thinking about my tree class; my tree class professor, Dr. Allen; Wump World by Bill Pete, and of course The Lorax by Dr Seuss. And dont get me wrong, I love the right tree in the right spot. But our yard is WAY better without those gnarly, noxious, nasty trees! And it will be even better when we get rid of the cottonwoods! And this machine was COOL.

Sunday, July 28, 2013. Father of all earthly life. Let us not smother the cries of the wounded and dead; let us work with the great Healer of souls till every life is precious and every soul has felt the strength of the love of God. Father of all earthly life,. Lord of worlds enthroned,. Sacred blood defiles our land;. Father we are pained for sin,. Deeds time cannot heal;. How shall we abide the wrath. Of thy wounded zeal? Even Christ the Lord of all. Who shall this unworthy land.
