Friday, August 17, 2012. How Do I Love Thee! The smell makes my mouth water. What is it that makes bacon so good? For this cupcake, I cooked about 6 slices and made them crispy. Once cooled, I chopped them up. I used a vanilla cake base, but it had real maple syrup in the batter. Oh My Goodness! I could have eaten the cupcakes all by themselves. The maple made the cake so moist and taste quite rich. Yum! They also smelled divinely. I used a piece of bacon and crumbled it on top of the cupcakes.
Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Well, it looks like we have some official plans now. I was waiting to tell people until I could come to terms with it. I love the beauty of the Ozarks. the hills, rivers, caves. I adore all that! I grew up hiking in those woods, canoeing those waters. Just a regular Girls Night out.
