My Expedition Vehicle and Trailer. Sunday, March 19, 2017. The recent heavy rains brought up a bumper crop of brilliant orange poppies and other wildflowers to grace the local canyons. Come follow along as I take you on an easy hike down an old power line road and up into the green hills of Southern California. It is time to head back but let me share one last photo of a real beauty who sometimes comes out on my adventures. She really liked the wildflowers too! Links to this post.
Who the heck is Bosque Bill? Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Sandia Crest Trail - July 2015. Nonetheless, as most of you are not local to the Albuquerque area, you would be traveling if you came to central New Mexico, so I feel justified in posting these photos here. The views are spectacular and the wildflowers were in full bloom. Most of the flower photos were taken with my ma.
Trip Reports in the Camper. Our New Camper, inside build. Sunday, April 12, 2015. East Coast Trip March 2015 Part Three, Key West to Home. Wednesday 4-1 Total miles 270. Got up and toured the Everglades NP. Did a walk around Royal Palm Hammock, Interesting sign telling you to cover your front windshield. The vultures like to eat the wipers and the rubber around your windshield. There was more wild life in such small area than I have ever seen. Thursday 4-2 Total miles 325.

Our All Terrain Camper! Monday, August 17, 2015. Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness, Montana - July 2015 - Part Four. Please remember you can click on a photo to see a larger version. This was going to be an interesting day in the Beartooths. A grouse - we call em Mountain Chickens - greeted us at the trailhead. The trail gains elevation very quickly and allows glimpses into hanging valleys across the East Rosebud Canyon. Slough Lakes is a wide spot in Armstrong Creek and where the terrain opens up ahead.CONTENT
