Friday, July 24, 2015. Rendering of the Month - July 2015. We liked this rendering because of the application of textures, reflections, and natural lighting make this a memorable rendering. Notice, for example, that every modeled surface has an applied material and these materials are properly scaled, are textured appropriately, and the reflection on the floor is particularly convincing. And the lighting from sunlight entering through the arched door is especially effective.
Another model taken from the 3D Warehouse and rendered in Twilight. Lighting and weather effects were then added in Photoshop Elements. Eagle Transporter from the TV show Space 1999 from my childhood. The model was taken from the 3D Warehouse. I then rendered it in Twilight and edited that in Photoshop Elements to add the moon, clouds, lens flares and jet contrails.
