Sidste bibliotek på rejsen er White Plains uden for New York. For 2 år siden udviddede og nyindrettede de børnebiblioteket. De fik dobbelt så meget plads og 3 mio. til at lave det bedste børnebibliotek for. Indgangen til The Trove, som biblioteket hedder. Man bliver straks nysgerrig for at se hvad der sker indenfor.

Christian Dorph dukker uventet op til min grillfest, jeg er ellers lige vågnet fra en middagslur. Jeg går ham i møde på havegangen i gamacher og stumpet T-shirt. Bagest i haven står Kirsten og vender et flute på grillen. Hun smiler til mig tværs over græsset, nu er vores lykke gjort.
