Thursday, December 30, 2010. 2011 UKSA Dinghy Sailing Week. This is a brilliant event for any boy who is free to take part. It is mainly targetted at Year 7 but the Sailing Club welcomes boys from the whole senior school. The dates for the week are 27th June - 1st July 2011. This is a superb oppor.
Towels x 2 plus toiletries. Sailing clothes; at least two changes of clothes. Wetsuits will be provided for sailing, but you should bring layerable warm clothing. Bare feet are not allowed. Sailing gloves if you have some.

The club is run by experienced sailors and it introduces boys to an exhilarating sport. It encourages and develops both dinghy sailing and yachting. This is a healthy, outdoor, adventurous activity for boys and provides an interest which could last a lifetime. RYA Sail Cruising and Yachtmaster Scheme. Saturday, 17 September 2011. RYA Sail Cruising Courses run by St James Sailing Club. This course provides a short introduction to sail cruising for novices. By the end of the course, participants will have experienced steering a yacht, sail handling, ropework and be aware of safety on board.
