Sunday, August 28, 2011. A Wonderful Day of Play. All of these grassy pics were taken beside the town of Mendecino, in northern California. This grassy area was surrounded by water on every side but one and much of it dropped off to the water rather suddenly so we had to find safe trails for the boys to run in and guard their routes! My life and the lives of many of my family members is changing and not for the better, my Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer 10 days ago. We are trying to stay positive but around every corner is someone with only negative comments and stories. Dad starts treatment on Monday.
