Thursday, July 31, 2014. I designed the Glacier Bay Scarf. For a family knit-along taking place during an Alaskan cruise. With a combination of brand-new and seasoned knitters, the pattern needed to be super-easy, yet interesting, and provide fast visible progress. This pattern includes only knit, knit 2 together, and yarn over, and due to the open mesh sections knits up really quickly. The design of the scarf is reminiscent of rippling waves interspersed with horizontal sea ice. K2tog - knit 2 together.

Friday, August 14, 2015. Shop, Rug Hooking, New Landscape and Peacocks. We are currently waiting on a bid for our red bank barn to be remodeled and climate controlled. Sit n spin awhile! Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Ive started watering out front this year, and they really have thrived in it! Although theyre still surrounded by this tough old desert grass, they are more beautiful than ever! Im going to dig them up this fall, so we can put in a raised flower bed, then replant them spaced out a bit, hoping they reproduce so I can fill the raised bed with them in a few years. I just got these pansys to put in it yesterday, and the velvety purple ones in the picture below.CONTENT

Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Our darling girl died this morning in her own bed with her own beloved man beside her, just as the sun was coming up on the most beautiful day you can imagine here in North Florida. Chilly, clear, gorgeous. May we all hold each other in mourn.
