How nice it was to be back together as a class. It sounds like everyone had a great holiday vacation week! Everyone did a great job transitioning back into the demands of the classroom. We had a wonderful, productive, hardworking week! Highlights from our week. Without a doubt I can say we all started 2017 on the right foot! Ask your child about some of the math choices they made this week.

Monday, January 9, 2017. I hope you had a wonderful week back from the holiday break. We were so busy during this four day week. The students came to school excited to learn and dive into new units. The children are moving away from list books back to writing true stories about their lives. This week we focused on the importance of other people being able to read our writing. Sunday, December 18, 2016. We hope you enjoyed reading them when they were brought home. Every nineteen days or so, we reflect on all our class letters that we have read each day. We enjoy choosing a special one to take home to share with our families. Our Holidays Around the World Dolls adorn our bulletin board in the hall. Thank you for being so creative at home!
