Wednesday, February 5, 2014. But, honestly anytime I tell the story it stirs up the emotions all over again. At first it was just red, irritated skin on his elbows. It was the beginning of June and I just figured he was having trouble with the heat. It was a HOT summer. My sister in law was with me that night and I just started cryin.

Friday, July 5, 2013. God has blessed me tremendously with friends and family that are so encouraging and just plain fantastic. But I had to take care of me first! Not trying to rub it in. I just want to give credit where credit is due! Last weekend I ran in the SuperHero 5K to help out a local family who has a 4 year old with an inoperable brain tum.
I spent a gorgeous Spring Break Monday off with my new husband. We chatted together, and chatted with friends. We talked to his sister in Kansas City. But when he fell asleep, I found that there was more to say, more to know, more to learn. I got scared that I would die. I got scared that he would die.
