What is Pygora Fiber? The Pygora Goat came into existance when Katherine Jogensen, of Oregon, bred the Small Pygmy goat, which is small and hearty that are colored beautifully, with the Angora goat. Angora goats have soft silky fleece. The idea was to get a small fiber goat with more color that was great for spinners. The cross and making of the Pygora brings a small, hearty beautiful fiber animal to our hearts and lives. There are three different types of Fleece.
