The remarkable adventures of life on water street and beyond. The Kuhn clan descended upon Split Rock Resort for a weekend this past fall. It was wonderful to catch up with everyone and the kids had a great time at the indoor waterpark, H2ooooooh! We celebrated Simons 9th birthday in grand style! Three close friends spent the night at our place, an epic nerf gun battle and the construction of a massive cardboard fort ensued. The boys camped out in the fort, of course! Sunday, June 7, 2015. Two festivals in one weekend? Shawnee Mission Medical Center hosted its annual Strawberry Festival, and we were the first in line for the balloon guy so as to not have a repeat performance of last year. Balloon in hand, we then made our way to the face painters before enjoying some Kona ice and strawberry shortcake. A fake injury and a firetruck visit wrapped up a fun afternoon!
