The Silk Road Bicycle Trip. Tuesday, March 27, 2007. We enjoy seeing how political borders collide with geographical borders. The Mekong river dividing Thailand and Laos among other, the mountains between Laos and Vietnam, and now, the mountain ridge between Guangxi province and Yunnan province. We climbed 20 km till the passborder and then descended 20 km. Thats how borders should be! So, in short, Yunnan is good for us. And the landscape, mountains! So, here are a bunch of pictures, with comments.CONTENT

Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Monday, August 20, 2012. Our friends have a tradition of camping at the coast one weekend each summer. This year we joined them, as did about seven other families. We pretty much took over the campground with a group of about fifty- most of them kids. Our yurt was booked exactly nine months in advance, five minutes after the phone lines were open. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. House Hunting Trip to North Carolina. We hit the road and headed towards Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Kevin and I are both scheduled to move there this summer, so off we went in search of a new home. Here, we stopped off and had a little picnic.
