In the slant of leaf filtered sunlight, in the shadow of dream, memory and fable, Sigrid finds inspiration. Folk music and literature are guides for her songwriting. Her heart still beats to the tiddley pum of Winnie the Pooh, the fatalism of Thomas Hardy, the brutal romance of a Childe ballad, the lyricism of Shakespeare, echoing in her songs and wrapped in the grace of a haunting melody.
