Pied Cormorant - Avoca Lagoon. I captured this image while waking along the waters edge at Avoca Beach NSW. The Pied Cormorant is found throughout mainland Australia, more common in the south and along the coast of south western Australia. They are found in harbours, mangroves and large inland wetlands in eastern Australia. They are also found in New Zealand.
