We will all learn to live with this illness, Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, that is in one of us. I hope to share the journey with others and to make a difference along the way. At first I thought it was a typo when I read that some had been alive, and going strong, 10 and 12 years after diagnosis! I am more than happy, more than utterly grateful. And so I find myself in a very happy place.
On September 25, 2009, Rassie was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. We never exepected a diagnoses of Leukemia. The Doctors and we ourselves, are very optimistic about the treatments available. We know that we have a long road ahead of us and we hope that you will support us on our journey to recovery. With us moving to Scottsdale, going to Puerto Rico next week and getting married in November- youd think we have enough time to update our blog! I reached BCRU on February 23, 2011!
