Gary was busy opening up the shutters when he spotted this little chap running very nimbly horizontally along the top wall of our covered terrace. As bold as brass! We thought at first he was a young squirel, but having checked our book he is a garden dormouse.
Our cute furry friends have grown in numbers over the last few years and we are delighted to be able to offer some for sale. A lovely very chunky boy. There is a debate regarding his true colour, he looks quite brown but he has a grey head, with grey tinges to his ears and legs and a big white spot on his nose! We have four geldings, all nearly nine years old. Their names are Faro, Fyta, Fergus and Fidget. We started keeping Alpacas with these 4 boys in June 2007 and although we had up to eight boys for several years, we have now reverted to keeping our original four. Through this blog we hope to show how much pleasure can be had from owning Alpacas. Just a reminder that clicking on most of the photos will show them greatly enlarged. Sunday, 9 August 2015. Not a lot of PC work this week and I missed my Friday craft time with Jane . Poor hubby , Doug had a man sized tooth ache . Needed mega amount of TLC. Got to a dentist who , after x-rays, saw that Doug had 3 abscesses under 3 separate bottom teeth and put him on antibiotics . More work to do next week . Today I was thankful that the new Kraftyhands Create-It issue 5.
