Thursday, April 16, 2009. Tyler got a butterfly habitat for Christmas, but I think I was the most fascinated watching them grow. First we got the teeny, tiny catterpillars, that you could hardly see. Only a week and a half later, they were big and fat! Shortly after that, they made their cocoons. And shortly after that, we had these bright orange butterflies! I have never seen anything grow and change so fast! Monday, April 13, 2009.

Saturday, December 15, 2012. Almost twelve and a half years ago Keith and I made a decision that would change our lives forever. We took in one of four abandoned puppies, just a few days before we were married. The doctors discovered an 8 inch fibroid growing in my uterus. They felt this might explain the miscarriage, but advised me to try getting pregnant again before considering surgery. A week later, following a wonderful day trip to San Francisco, the spotting began.
