Thursday, August 13, 2009. Shedding Light on Our Progress. Busy, busy, busy around here. We should be in the house very soon. they are laying floors today, and we will be heading down there with our butcher block countertops this afternoon. I finally got the first of my 4 kitchen light fixtures to come out just like I wanted. This one goes over the sink. The other 3 will go over the island and are ready to have the hole drilled for the electrical works.
