Friday, December 21, 2012. Last Friday I was on my way home from picking up Russell from pre-school when Mark called me and told me about the Connecticut shooting. I immediately began to cry. Russell was listening to my side of the conversation and concluded that some children had died. I was crying uncontrollably by the time we got home and suggested we pray for all those who were feeling pain and sadness.
Both anniversaries have been nice and there is no one right way to grieve or celebrate the life of a child. Some people send off balloons, some donate money to charities, some make blankets for NICUs and some just quietly reflect. All of those ways- and more- are beautiful and good but nothing has hit the spot yet. Do something important for Henry. This feels important to m.

Thursday, May 27, 2010. Tiffany got to graduate from elementary school twice! Well, last year we were living in L. and the elementary school there ends in 5 th. Grade but here in AZ, it ends in 6 th. So, last year we did the whole production with the grandparents who lived close, presents, and all the all unnecessary crap that goes on for an elementary school graduation. Monday, May 10, 2010.
