They had come prepared with dollar store butterfly nets for the hunt. Grandpa coaches Jack on the fine art of butterfly hunting. And, the hunt is on. Gotta love trudging through the snow to find a mountain tree to cut down - - this is the first year in 9 years that we havent had a child to carry - - well completely carry. Jack had a piggy-back ride with me most of the time. Its tricky when the snow is as deep as he is tall! But we did enjoy some snow angel making. Love that Ella is totally buried here. .
