Wednesday, April 14, 2010. With slight change of plans, we have come back to HCMC several hours early. This has given the students a chance to get one last shop at the local market. Saying that, it seems that some of the staff have run out of money. Overall, this has been a fantastic trip, quite an adventure to see the whole country, from close to the Chinese border, down to Mekong Delta, which borders with Cambodia.

Sunday, April 18, 2010. What an amazing experience I have had. Seventeen days surviving in a country totally different to New Zealand; it was like nothing I ever imagined and I loved every minute of it! So that was interesting but a good experience. I especially enjoyed cooking school and learning about all of the traditional Vietnamese flavours. Sunday, April 11, 2010. Saturday, April 10, 2010. We are now in Hoian, we are in a beautiful resort overlooking the gar.

Monday, April 12, 2010. A1 experienced a lovely dinner this evening. KFC! It was sliggghtly interesting and despite the screaming children enjoying a birthday party it was very nice. The popcorn chicken was different but was still as western as it gets in Vietnam. Although we are having a great time everyone is excited to get home. My suitcase weighs 26 with a limit of 20 SOOOOOO hopefully a few people would like to take some things home for me eeeek.
